Delete your Maidan account
You can delete your Maidan account and the data that goes with it at any time — straight from the app, or by asking us if you can no longer use the app.
01Delete it in the app
- Open Maidan and go to your profile.
- Open Settings → Delete Account.
- Type the confirmation word shown on screen and confirm.
Your account is deleted immediately. If you captain a team, hand the captaincy to a teammate first — the app will tell you.
02Ask us to delete it
If you can’t use the app, email info@maidan-app.com with the subject “Delete my Maidan account” and the phone number your account uses. To make sure the request is really yours, we will send a one-time code to that number over WhatsApp and ask you to reply with it. We complete verified requests within 30 days and email you when it is done.
03What is deleted
- Your profile: name, phone number, email, photo and details.
- Your team memberships, invites and follows.
- Your bookings and notifications.
- Your player statistics and badges.
- Your devices’ push notification tokens.
- Venues you own, with their photos, opening hours and verification documents.
04What is kept
The results of matches you played stay part of the other teams’ history, but the goals, cards and other events you were part of are no longer linked to you. Crash reports, which contain no profile data, are kept by Firebase for up to 90 days. We may keep limited records where the law requires it.
